Maintenance trimming refers to tidying up a hedge or shrub by cutting back on overgrown branches, mainly for aesthetic purposes. Excessive overgrowth can also be harmful to your hedge as it can reduce the amount of light and moisture it receives, stuttering its growth. Hedges, not unlike other plants also require their fair share of maintenance in order to look lush and healthy. They need formative pruning and general maintenance trimming to stay within bounds. As hedges are often made out of different varieties of trees and shrubs, it’s only normal that their cuts vary in the year. Some hedges are more challenging than others, our quotes include considerations such as where the hedge is (some may have access issues), how big the hedge is and how small you require it to be trimmed to and if we are going to dispose of the cuttings. We can provide a one off hedge cutting service or we can arrange an agreement whereby we will trim your hedge on a regular basis.
